Easter Egg Dyeing---aka---dipping fun

So I dip this little dipper thingy in to get the egg?

I think I have a more efficient way!

Awww, darnit. What a mess.

Here, let me help clean that up.

After so many spills and splashes,
mommy realized that I was just as happy
with a cup of water.

See, look how pretty!

A New Tradition---A Hare in the Air

We discovered a great event...the Hare in the Air Easter Egg Hunt at Auntie M's school---Logan College of Chiropractic.
The campus is AMAZING! It was like being at a park. And such a family atmosphere--we're going to come visit Auntie M at lunch in the summer so we can play in the plaza fountain and walk by the lake!
Today there was a petting zoo, easter egg hunt, and the Easter Bunny came via helicopter--piloted by Bill Houska from Newschannel5, where your news comes first, haha.
Lainey loved the little bunny-foo-foo that Auntie M held for her. It made Auntie M want a little bunny again. Should we check her pockets to see if this one came home with her? [it didn't]

Here is my Marilyn Monroe impression as I played on the vents near the window.

I look like such a big girl...so adorable.

Ahh hahahaha. Here I look kinda mischievious. And believe mommy, looks ARE NOT decieving.

Here comes the bunny, waving out the window.

Hi mommy from across the plaza! We had to wait for the official "OK" before we could go and get all the eggs.

No parents allowed to help---good thing I knew what I was doing!

Picture perfect pick-up of the egg.

MMMMM, candy inside each egg!

Hey, are you stealing my eggs? I don't even know you! Why isn't your mother stopping you! Oh well---I already took all the good stuff out of them!!!

I had to hunt with the "big" kids cause the age groups only went down to age 2.

The firemen even came and showed off their ladder.

Ummm, get me off this fuzzy creature!

I'll just watch from here. Hold my hand, please.

So egg-xuasted-----hahahahaha!

Spring is here, but Kater is not...

As we welcomed in the flowers, we bid Kater farewell. She is off to live in Hawaii for 3 years!!! Lucky! New vacation spot!!!! Aloha! We're doing Jamiaca this year, so we're off to see Aunt KayKay next year--unless we talk daddy into 2 vacations--since the lodging will be free : )

Our last Sunday Dinner together for a long while.
