Happy Birthday to Mommy

YAY!!! Laina was potty trained over my b-day weekend that she spent with Mimi!!!

We are going to give all our diapers to Cohen when he arrives in May.

I was really getting nervous with this potty training thing because she seemed "too smart" for it!!! She clearly let us know two weeks ago that she did not like underwears and wanted to keep "just one" diaper when we gave them all to Cohen. [when she asks for candy, we used to say, "just one" so now she just says it automatically when she asks, so that is what she did with the diapers......she just wanted to keep "just one."] She would also start to go potty, say, "Uh-oh" then breathe a sigh of relief and say, "oh, it's OK, I have a diaper on." Then she would proceed to take her diaper off, throw it away, and put a new one on----ALL BY HERSELF!! I guess she got tired of that job and decided to go on the potty instead. I'm probably jinxing it, but is has been 6 days since she went in a diaper [ok, except a couple times overnite....but 100% during the day !!!] YEAH!

Snow Days!!!

and won!!!

Laine also got 2 strollers and grocery carts. We had to send one of each to Maw-maw's house because she insisted that they BOTH be played with. She we order one of us to push one while she pushed the other.....around and around and around....for a long time!

After: smoother, fuller hair that makes her an official looking BIG GIRL.
