4th of July

Laine had a great Fourth of July.

She loved the fireworks.
I covered her ears for some, and then she started covering them on her own.

It was rather cute.

Christmas in July

So, I know it's REALLY late, but I just got time to play around with some video making software, and I have been making videos like crazy--no, not those kind you perverts!!!!!

I stumbled across some Christmas footage and made a Christmas one. It's only 1 minute long and not that great because I didn't do much customizing, I literally spent 10 minutes on it, but I still think it looks good.

Can't wait for Christmas 2009!!! We'll be building a SANDman instead of a SNOWman since we leave for Jamaica on Christmas morning!!!!!!!!!!

Having a Six Flags Day!!!!

Laine LOVES Six Flags!!! She knows we are there as soon as we enter Allenton and it is in view. We've been several times already this summer. She even loves the water park. She can just wade around in the huge kiddie part.

She has 2 favorites over in the ride park....the balloons and the boat.


This is the boat ride that Daddy won't ride with us because it makes him sick---sissy.


And here are the balloons---they spin in a giant circle and go up in the air and each balloon spins round and round.



This is not a look of fear....this is her scream. The first few times she road it she just laughed and laughed, until one time we rode across from two little screamers who were throwing their hands in the air and screaming at the top of their lungs with excitement. She stared and stared at them; I thought they were scaring her [or hurting her ears] but then all of of sudden Laine throws her hands into the air and screams!!! Now whenever you ask her what she does @ Six Flags, she raises her hands up and screams!

She also loves loves the slide on the tree house. Over and over again, she never tires of it.

Of course we have to do the carousel every time, too.

She was so excited with watching this that she could have stood here all day and been satisfied with the trip.

Laine just wanted to look. She wasn't too into reaching over and touching them.

There was a leak in the pipes on this day, so the water was come and go....the new game was to watch for one to finally trickle out and spew a little bit and RUN over to it.

The next few posts are out of order, chronologically....I just got the files from Mimi to finally post. But I couldn't resist not sharing them-----better late than never!

It sort of looks like she's being beaten with a Ladybug, but rest assured, we are just playing---and she LOVES it.
